Day 18 - Preferential Treatment at the Milk Bar!!!

This morning, after I had done the Big Clean which involves putting all pups into the pupmobile and laundry basket for the more active, Daisy May and Blaze 3 (Button) were the first awake!!! I decided to pop them in with Teasle for an advance feed. As there were only 2, the usual sea of wriggling bodies did not distract from the feeding process.  Gaynor had explained about the stages of feeding, and I had certainly seen the frantic paddling they give poor Teasle's abdomen, but had not really seen the stage where they go stiff and actually hear the gulping as they actually get the milk. However, this time I did and it was lovely.  You can just see on the photo how their little front legs are so stiff and back legs stick out at the back, together with their beautiful otter tails twitching.  Nature is, indeed, wonderful :D
